Christmas!!!!!!!!

My parents came over on Christmas Eve for a deli-style buffet. After we played some Mario-kart on the wii.

My parents got our boys a big huge bone for jake and a cute sheep toy for Bleu

Christmas morning we had some breakfast and then started opening gifts. The boys got a puzzle cube where they try to find the ball in the box, a chuck-it that is more portable, an agility obstacle course and a new bed.

Blake got me an ipod touch and itunes gift card.

Blake got a special Edition fallout 3, Special Edition Fable 2, Overlord, Oblivion extension pack for the Xbox and Patapon for PSP. A lot of games :) I also got him Dead Space the movie.

Blake also got me a dog biscuit cookbook and dogfood cookbook. With a notebook for my future recipes. How sweet!!!

Blake and I both got Wall-e, Kungfu Panda, and Hellboy 2 from our boys. How did they know!!

Blake got me a cool necklace made of bronze. It has a "S" stamped in it (I'm officially a standard lol!!) He got it from Blue Ruby, the same place he got my necklace with the two dogs. They make pretty unique one jewelry

Ben and Linda got us a statue and a frame. Blake and I really love this statue. We think its appropriate for the vet assistant program I'm going into. The design is really cool as well. The frame is very nice and we can't wait to put a picture in it and hang it up.

My parents got us this cool Disney dish set. We got two mugs and four bowls. They are very neat because they have sketches of the mickey and mouse on them. They also bought us a frying pan, bed sheets, Shrek monopoly, and some wine. My dad bought Blake some tools and a tool box. So now we officially own a real toolbox instead of our purple box ha ha. I got some socks, a scarf and a new rad Tank top. We were spoiled by our parents for sure this year. Thanks guys!!!!!!

Jennifer got us two bottles of wine and the boys some gourmet dog treats.

Blake and I got our parents both a wedding book and donations to the BCSPCA. Ben and Linda got two games that Blake and I worked on (UEFA Euro08 and Crash Bandicoot: mind over mutant. My mother got a gift certificate to banana republic and my dad got a drawing from me. Blake and I gave my sister white towels and a gift certificate from HMV.

Christmas after Blake and I opened gifts, we went to my parents. We opened gifts there, Blake, Jennifer, and my dad played shrek monoply. We ate a delicious feast and then played cranium.

Blake and I would have to say it was a good Christmas!!! Merry Christmas Everybody!!!!

snow snow snow!!!

It's been snowing a lot lately. On Sunday, we took the boys to the park to play in the snow. Jake loves the snow so much that he's so excited to get up in the morning and go outside.

Today, I made dog biscuits. The boys love them. I did a simple cheese recipe and used Christmas cookie cutters.

BCSPCA Toy Drive

Saturday, Blake and I participated in the 2008 BCSPCA Toy drive. We donated two big boxes of Milkbones treats for the dogs, a big box of temptations treats for the cats and two large leashes. I was emailed these pictures of how much stuff they got. The drive also served Tim Horton coffee and pancakes.

The rest of the weekend we just stayed home because it was snowing and I came down with a really bad cold.

Thanksgiving, cupcakes, christmas tree, and a cool date

We actually have lots to talk about this week. First, we love to say Happy Thanksgiving weekend to all the Yankees. This year I made Blake Thanksgiving dinner with stuffing, mashed potatoes, vegetables and yummy vegetarian gravy. I also baked cupcakes for a charity bake sale at Blake's work. We raised about 45 dollars ourselves.

The next day, Blake and I put up our Christmas tree. We found our reindeer antlers that we bought three years ago, and tried to get Jake wear them but it was hard to get a picture.

Last night, Blake and I went to the animation show at the Vancity. (Earlier that day, Blake played Dungeons and Dragons with his friends and I went out to breakfast with my dad and then had a fun afternoon with my mom shopping for Christmas).

The Animation show had lots of good films, but had a few bad ones as well. Generally the show was good and entertaining. Blake and I always love it because they are independent films. This year there were about 25 short films ranging from 30 seconds to 10 minutes.

After the show, Blake and I went to one of our favorite restaurants "the locus" on main street. I think they have the best veggie burger in town (if you like peppers).

It was a great end to a great day!

Bleu got a rain jacket.

We got a jacket for Bleu today. He has been really cold at night when we go on our walks especially when it rains. So I bought a rain jacket with a fleece liner. The Jacket even has some reflectors, which is good because he's Black. The jacket will for sure keep him dry and warm. Jake ,in the other hand, doesn't need a jacket because his coat is suitable for the icy rainy weather.

p.s. Nicole's art blog is updated about the film Blake and I are working on

Nothing new but some funny pictures

Life has been boring. Nothing really exciting besides Blake working and me studying during the weekdays and then working on a film on the weekend. Last Friday we went to the EA awards at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre downtown Vancouver. I'll try to get some photos and post them in the next week. The reason for this post is while I was studying I was looking at images of dogs and cats breeds and found these amusing pictures. Here is a English Mastiff with his owner

Here are three giant schnauzer dogs looking out the window

This one is a Great Dane taking a snooze on a love seat.

Here is a Turkish Van longhair cat in a sink. I read that this is one of the few cats that loves to play in the water and will join you in the tub for a dip or help you in the sink and are know as "the swimming cat from Turkey."

This picture was shown on a lot of t.v shows but actually this is a Maine Coon cat and is the largest cat breed. So it is actually normal for them to get his big.
