Movies, Movies and Movies

Saturday, Blake and I, watched a lot of movies. We saw Igor in theatre. It is a animated fable about a cliché hunchbacked evil scientist's assistant who aspires to become a scientist himself, much to the displeasure of the rest of the evil science community. It was an independent movie therefore it was no Pixar or Dreamworks movie. However, I did enjoy it. They style was cool and the scamper and Brian characters were very funny. Blake did not enjoy the lighting until the sunshine came out but he liked the movie.

The second movie was Barnyard. It was about when the farmer's away, all the animals play ... and sing, and dance. Eventually, though, someone has to step in and run things, a responsibility that ends up going to Otis (James), a carefree cow. It was o.k. Better than we thought it was going to be. However the cow's utters kinda bothered us. I think what made this movie was the gags.

The last movie we saw was Valiant. The animated comedy tells the story of a lowly wood pigeon named Valiant, who overcomes his small size to become a hero in Great Britain's Royal Air Force Homing Pigeon Service during World War II. The RHPS advanced the Allied cause by flying vital messages about enemy movements across the English Channel, whilst evading brutal attacks by the enemy's Falcon Brigade. Sadly I fell a sleep before it ended so I don't know what happen at the end but Blake thought it was good.
